I made a big mistake purchasing a 2002 FSC600 Honda Silverwing with an attached Tow-Pac trike kit sight unseen from Meadows Used Bikes & Trikes. I was told before the purchase that it was in good running condition. A U-Ship courier service delivered the trike in one piece. I rolled it out of the trailer, added fuel, started it & took it for a test drive. I was extremely disappointed when it immediately lost power & wouldn't move. We had to pay a Honda motorcycle mechanic to diagnose the problem which was a faulty fuel regulator. $200 later the trike was ready to roll. I rode the trike approx 100 miles & was making a turn when one of the Tow-Pac bolts broke & the unit & I were leaning sideways. Fortunately, I was able to safely pull off the highway. I rode home on my husband's Goldwing to pick up the cargo trailer (fortunately, we weren't too far from home & had a trailer). I immediately contacted Tow-Pac to request an illustration & installation instructions & discovered that the Tow-Pac was improperly installed. The bolts were not installed correctly. I learned a valuable lesson to never buy anything with wheels sight unseen. And no matter how "nice" a seller appears, to properly & scrupulously inspect a vehicle before making a purchase.
